On the 27th, a press conference for KBS2's 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear Boyfriend' was held at the KBS Art Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The event was attended by Sung Si-kyung, band master Jung Dong-hwan, Jung Mi-young, and PD Son Ja-yeon.
'The Seasons' is a late-night music program featuring top Korean artists such as Jay Park, Choi Jung-hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyori, Zico, Lee Young-ji, Park Bo-gum, and 10cm, who take turns as MCs. Sung Si-kyung takes the helm as the MC for the ninth season, 'Sung Si-kyung's Ear Boyfriend.'
Sung Si-kyung expressed his excitement about joining the show, saying, "There aren't many music programs these days, so it was an honor to continue the legacy of 'The Seasons.'" He added, "Although the weekly recordings are a bit daunting, I want to create a 'The Seasons' where many artists can comfortably appear."
When asked about his first recording experience, Sung Si-kyung laughed and said, "I didn't expect to be asked to sing so much." He continued, "When I was first offered the MC role, they just told me to host. But broadcasting people are indeed scary. During the second recording, they told me to go down from the stage. I'm scared of what they'll ask me to do next," bringing more laughter to the event.
'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear Boyfriend' premieres tonight at 10 PM.
