The group UNIS is celebrating their 2nd anniversary.
UNIS, consisting of Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Elisia, Oh Yoon-ah, and Im Seo-won, made their debut on March 27, 2024, with their first mini-album 'WE UNIS.' Since then, they have established their unique style with lively and energetic music.
In their debut year, UNIS swept through various award ceremonies, winning an impressive 12 trophies. Each album release has marked a new career high for the group.
Recently, they successfully completed their first-ever tour across 14 cities in the United States. With their fresh charm and energetic performances, UNIS has left a lasting impression worldwide. To mark their 2nd anniversary, they shared diverse stories through their agency, F&F Entertainment.
Below is the full Q&A commemorating UNIS's 2nd anniversary.
Q. How do you feel about reaching your 2nd anniversary?
Jin Hyun-joo: It still doesn't feel real that it's been 2 years since our debut. The first anniversary was already emotional, and now it's amazing that 2 years have passed.
Nana: We've had so many unforgettable moments. Thanks to our members, EverAfter (our official fan club), and everyone who has supported us, we've come this far. Thank you sincerely.
Jelly Danka: Every effort we've made feels worthwhile. Meeting the members and running this journey together feels like a blessing. It's an especially special 2nd anniversary with our beloved EverAfter.
Kotoko: Time seems to fly by. The memories we've built with the members and EverAfter make the number '2' feel significant.
Bang Yoon-ha: It feels like just yesterday we were promoting 'SUPERWOMAN,' and now it's our 2nd anniversary. It's unbelievable, yet I'm proud of our members for working hard over the past 2 years.
Elisia: I recall every moment spent with the members. I'm proud of our eight members and want to create more joyful memories together.
Oh Yoon-ah: We've grown a lot while laughing with the members and EverAfter. I'm excited and happy for the many days we'll share together.
Im Seo-won: The past years flash by like a montage. I want to tell myself, our members, and EverAfter that we've worked hard and thank you.
Q. What is your most memorable moment from the past 2 years?
Jin Hyun-joo: Winning first place on a music show with 'SWICY' is unforgettable. 'SWICY' is a song I have a special attachment to. Receiving a trophy for my favorite song is a memory I can't fully express in words.
Kotoko: I immediately think of our debut day. Everything was new and unfamiliar, but it was the start of UNIS, and the excitement and thrill are still vivid.
Jelly Danka: There were many special moments, but visiting my hometown with the members is unforgettable. The warm welcome from our Filipino EverAfter made me feel the love we receive.
Q. Is there a moment or episode where you felt the team became stronger?
Nana: Spending the most time together and sharing opinions naturally strengthens the team. UNIS has become more solid through sincere support and quiet consideration for each other.
Bang Yoon-ha: We've naturally started joking and making each other laugh more. Being able to laugh and enjoy each other's company strengthens UNIS.
Im Seo-won: I felt it strongly during our recent US tour. On stage, we focused on our roles while checking on each other's condition. The deep trust we have for each other has made the team stronger.
Q. UNIS has achieved career highs with each album and gained global recognition. How do you feel about the recent success of 'SWICY' and 'Spring Rain'?
Jin Hyun-joo: I'm happy to feel the love for 'Spring Rain' recently. I've always hoped UNIS's songs would become seasonal favorites, and with 'Spring Rain' receiving love this spring, it feels like a dream coming true.
Elisia: I hoped not only the title tracks but also the B-sides would receive more love. I'm glad and thankful that more people are discovering UNIS's music.
Oh Yoon-ah: It feels like UNIS has become more distinct to the public. The love we receive motivates us to show even better performances.
Q. UNIS's music is known for its lively and energetic vibe. Which song would you recommend to more people?
Nana: There are many great songs beyond the title tracks. I recommend 'Datin' Myself.' It gives a warm, fuzzy feeling, and the lyrics are beautiful and empowering.
Kotoko: 'Meet Again in Dreams' is a beautiful song in melody and lyrics. The line 'I'll always be by your side' warms my heart and makes me want to listen again.
Im Seo-won: 'SWICY' has become a representative song showing UNIS's identity. It holds personal significance as it allowed us to grow and gain experience. I hope many enjoy 'SWICY' this spring.
Q. What would you like to say to your fellow members?
Jin Hyun-joo: UNIS, thank you for following a lacking leader and growing well over the past 2 years. Let's continue to trust each other and move forward.
Nana: Members, just being by my side gives me strength. Let's continue to create happy and precious memories together.
Jelly Danka: I'm proud of how we've grown. I sincerely support each of us achieving our goals within UNIS.
Kotoko: I believe I could grow because the members were always by my side. Thank you for being with me. Let's all be happy together.
Bang Yoon-ha: Time feels slow, yet it's already our 2nd anniversary. Let's continue to smile and walk our path healthily.

Q. What are your new goals or dreams for 2026?
Jelly Danka: If we can continue together as we are now, that would be enough happiness. I cherish every moment with the members on and off stage and hope to continue together.
Bang Yoon-ha: I want to show all of UNIS's charms. I hope to surprise people with our diverse and unique sides.
Elisia: I want to introduce UNIS to more places this year. It would be wonderful if more people became EverAfter and joined us.
Q. A message to EverAfter, who always supports and loves you?
Jin Hyun-joo: You know UNIS has grown over the past 2 years thanks to EverAfter, right? Thank you for your endless love and support!
