TV personality Seo Dong-joo has opened up about her current state and feelings following her IVF treatment.
On the 26th, the '또.도.동' channel released a video titled 'Even if we break up next week, I decided to live in the 'present'.'
Sharing her hospital visit, Seo stated, “I am still waiting,” and admitted, “The hardest part is not having a definite result yet.”
Seo previously revealed that she switched hospitals after a setback. She recalled, “The doctor suggested it might be better to give up, so I was ready to let everything go.”
After undergoing another examination, she discovered unexpected changes. Seo shared, “A week later, I found out that the gestational sac had formed at 0.34cm.”
Another week passed, and the changes continued. She reported, “Today, it has grown slightly to about 0.67cm.”
However, the situation is not entirely positive. Seo explained, “The yolk sac is still not visible, so it's not a stage where we can say it's definitely progressing.”
As a result, the conclusion is still pending. She stated, “I was told to come back in a week, so I'm still waiting without much change from that day.”
Seo also shared her reflections on the process. She said, “I thought I had been through a lot in life, but this experience made me realize I lack patience.” She added, “I am submerged in deep sorrow.”
She continued, “Thinking about the future makes it harder. If I focus on the present, I am pregnant, the gestational sac has formed, and it is growing, but I can't seem to enjoy it.”
Seo concluded, “The next week seems to be a crucial period. It will determine whether things move in a positive direction or if I need to prepare for the next cycle.”
Finally, she expressed her intention to spend the remaining time as comfortably and joyfully as possible, showing her acceptance of the present.
