Short track speed skater Choi Min-jeong shared her thoughts on meeting Chef Son Jong-won during a variety show recording.
Choi appeared on the 958th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' aired on the 25th. The episode also featured fellow athletes, including short track medalist Kim Gil-li, snowboarder Kim Sang-gyeom, and short track skater Yoo Seung-eun, who are all medalists from the 25th Milan Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics.
Choi Min-jeong explained that she has been busy appearing on various entertainment programs recently. She mentioned, "I filmed both 'Running Man' and 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' in one day." She added, "After recording 'Running Man,' I was tired, but when I saw Chef Son Jong-won sitting next to me, I was so nervous that I couldn't look at him properly."
MC Kim Gura, upon confirming that Son Jong-won is single, asked, "Is that why you like him?" To this, Choi responded, "Chef Son's eyes are very round," and added, "He kept asking me questions, but I was so nervous that I couldn't answer well."
Kim Gura remarked, "Even though you met Yoo Jae-suk, it seems like the person who left a lasting impression was Son Jong-won."
