Coupang Play's Top Comedy Show Returns with New Faces for Season 8
South Korea's number one comedy show is making a grand return for its eighth season on Saturday, March 28th at 8 PM. The show is heating up with the introduction of four 'new face' crew members who have joined after overcoming intense competition.

Coupang Play's top comedy show is known for its bold and daring humor delivered by superstar guests and trusted crew members, consistently topping the buzz charts. This season, the new crew members bringing fresh laughter without a break are An Jumi, Lee Ara, Jung Chang-hwan, and Jung Hee-soo.

The show has been a launching pad for stars, producing rookie award winners at the 'Blue Dragon Series Awards' for three consecutive years, including Joo Hyun-young, Kim Ah-young, and Yoon Ga-yi, and elevating talents like Ji Ye-eun and Kim Kyu-won to stardom. Season 8 is highly anticipated for the unique performances of the new crew members, who aspire to be the 'next Ji Ye-eun.'

Born in 2002, An Jumi is a former child actor with solid skills and striking visuals. During auditions, she impressed the judges with her flawless spontaneity and impromptu acting, promising an audacious performance. Lee Ara, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, showcases her versatile talents in English rap, hip-hop, and tap dance, bringing a refreshing energy to the show with her hidden charm behind her clear visuals.

Jung Chang-hwan, a graduate of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) Actors, has showcased his talent in projects like 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 1 and 'Tangeum.' Known for his creative ideas and captivating acting, his live stage performance is highly anticipated. Jung Hee-soo, already loved on YouTube for his unique meme 'Hee-soo hyung,' joins the crew with his charming looks and contrasting comedic style, promising to create an iconic character beyond 'Hee-soo hyung.'

The new crew members, armed with extraordinary talent, join the ranks of South Korea's comedy pride, led by Shin Dong-yup, along with core members like Jung Sang-hoon, Jung Sung-ho, Kim Min-kyo, Ahn Young-mi, Jung Yi-rang, Lee Soo-ji, Kwon Hyuk-soo, Kim Won-hoon, Ji Ye-eun, and Kim Kyu-won, to deliver even more powerful laughter. With Tak Jae-hoon, known for his 'no-filter wit,' confirmed as the host for the first episode this Saturday, the synergy between veteran and new crew members in Season 8 is drawing significant attention.
