The house, abandoned for a decade, requires extensive work, with overgrown weeds and major construction needs.
The show's appeal lies in its cast. Participants include Baek Ga, who has registered as an interior business owner, and Lee Chun-hee, a carpenter, along with Song Eun-i and Jang Woo-young, who co-purchased the Jeju house with Kim Sook. They actively engage in the renovation, from drafting blueprints to obtaining necessary permits.
The program took an unexpected turn when it was revealed that Kim Sook's Jeju house is located in a designated cultural heritage area, requiring special permits for construction. However, according to the production team, filming is mostly complete, so the program's content will remain unchanged. This behind-the-scenes revelation enhances the show's authenticity.
