A woman in her 20s, once known for her resemblance to actress Shin Se-kyung at 42kg, has revealed her journey to reaching 127kg.
On a recent episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything', a 29-year-old participant shared her struggles with extreme weight changes and how her appearance has drastically changed over the years.
She confessed, “I used to be told I looked like Shin Se-kyung, but now I look completely different. I want to go back to how I was.”
The significant weight gain was attributed to a change in lifestyle. After failing to secure a job, she became reliant on delivery food, consuming items like croissants, bagels, and whole cakes twice a day, totaling four meals. She admitted to eating whole cakes almost daily, which shocked the show's hosts.
Upon seeing her past photos, Lee Soo-geun remarked, “Regardless of the Shin Se-kyung comparison, she was truly beautiful,” expressing surprise at her transformation.
Seo Jang-hoon pointed out, “If climbing three flights of stairs is difficult, it indicates a problem with your body. Eating whole cakes daily and not gaining weight would be unusual.” He emphasized the need for lifestyle changes.
He advised, “Start by reducing to two meals a day and walking short distances.” Lee Soo-geun also suggested, “It's important to get a health check-up first.”
