On the 25th, a press conference for 'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' was held at The Saint in Sindorim, Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Park Sung-woong, Lee Soo-kyung, Lee Seo-hwan, Nam Kwon-ah, Lee Jin-woo, Choi Gyu-ri, and director Choi Yeon-soo.
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' is a heartwarming family reboot drama about the urban family of Seong Tae-hoon, who struggles to return to Seoul after being dropped into the pristine yet fierce area of Yeonliri. Park Sung-woong plays Seong Tae-hoon, a former corporate researcher turned farmer, while Lee Soo-kyung portrays Jo Mi-ryeo, Tae-hoon's wife and a supermom who raised three sons on her own.
Park Sung-woong and Lee Soo-kyung previously worked together as a couple in the 2024 KBS drama 'Dog Sound'. Reflecting on their reunion, Park Sung-woong humorously noted, "In the previous project, we didn't have many scenes together as a couple. But in this one, we're always together, which was challenging." He added, "I'm relatively quiet, but Soo-kyung is bright and lively, so we balanced each other well."
Lee Soo-kyung shared her thoughts on reuniting with Park, saying, "I felt comfortable." She expressed her delight, "I was happy to work with him in 'Dog Sound', and meeting again this time made me feel at ease." She also requested viewers' support, saying, "We've prepared diligently, so please tune in."
'Simu-myeon Yeonliri' premieres on the 26th at 9:50 PM.
