K-pop singer Soyou has become a hot topic after shedding 20kg and recently shared her rigorous body management secrets.
On the 23rd, Soyou's YouTube channel 'Soyougi' featured a video titled 'Is Mugwort Therapy the Trend Now? | Soyou's Detox Revealed.' In the video, Soyou visited a mugwort therapy center for a wellness experience.
While exploring the benefits of mugwort, she commented, "My body condition: cold hands and feet, and my knees, back, and shoulders aren't in great shape." She added, "I suffer more from rhinitis than frequent colds, but since it's the season change, I think mugwort therapy could be beneficial for my body."
When asked by the production team if she is interested in the wellness trend, Soyou enthusiastically replied, "I love it. I enjoy Bali because it makes me feel healthier." She continued, "After working out at the gym, I go to the wet sauna, dry sauna, and swimming pool." She also mentioned, "I take ice baths, staying in for about 2 minutes before returning to the sauna. I do this routine 3 to 4 times a day," highlighting her dedication to self-care.
Soyou candidly admitted, "I've gained a bit of weight recently," when asked if she sweats less after her body transformation. She added, "It feels like my body is returning to its original state." She also shared that she uses ear acupuncture to manage swelling before shoots.
Soyou previously made headlines last year by losing 10kg. During a live session on her social media, she stated, "If I lose more weight, I might feel weak, so I'm trying to maintain it." At that time, she weighed 52kg and decided not to lose more. However, she later revealed on her YouTube channel that she consistently managed her diet and exercise, reducing her weight from 68kg to 49kg.
