On the recent episode of TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Love Match' aired on the 23rd, the blind date between Oh Ji-heon's father and actress Lee Sang-mi was revealed.
Oh Ji-heon's father, who has been divorced for 29 years and is now 72, is currently working as a senior model. Oh Ji-heon expressed his wish for his father to find a good partner after being alone for so long.
A woman in a mini skirt with long straight hair appeared at the blind date. The date was with 64-year-old actress Lee Sang-mi, known for her role as 'Gaettong's mom' in the drama 'Country Diary'.
Oh Ji-heon's father was surprised by her youthful appearance, exclaiming, "A young lady has come." When he commented, "A maiden has come out," Lee Sang-mi wittily responded, "I am a maiden." The studio was filled with admiration for Lee Sang-mi's beauty.
In an interview with the production team, Lee Sang-mi shared that she recently lost her mother and is now alone. Her mother had been bedridden for a long time and passed away two years ago.
Lee Sang-mi lived with her mother for about 40 years until her passing. Regarding her dating experience, she mentioned, "I only had one long-term relationship," and expressed her desire to meet someone who truly loves her. She named actor George Clooney as her ideal type.
Before the blind date, Oh Ji-heon and his father agreed that if he liked the date, he would order a cappuccino; if not, a regular coffee. Oh Ji-heon's father ordered a cappuccino.
Lee Sang-mi showed interest in Oh Ji-heon's father's fashionable accessories. He shyly explained, "I thought it might be too much, but I decided it's better to show who I am from the start." When Lee Sang-mi asked for the location to buy similar accessories, he smiled and said, "I should buy them for you." In an interview, Lee Sang-mi commented, "I liked the common ground.
