Tensions Rise in 'Prescription for Love' as Families Clash at Event
In the latest episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Prescription for Love,' aired on the 22nd, a fierce showdown unfolded between the Gong and Yang families at a couple's event.

The episode featured Han Seong-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung) and Gong Jeong-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) attending the Taehan Group event alongside Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook) and Cha Se-ri (played by So Yi-hyun). Both families engaged in a tense battle of pride. Cha Se-ri was eager to form an alliance with Taehan, while Han Seong-mi mistakenly believed her daughter Gong Ju-a's boyfriend was Park Jun-hyuk (played by Han Seung-won). The two women firmly stated, "Our children will not be involved with each other," heightening the tension.

Meanwhile, Gong Ju-a and Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong) clarified to Hwang Bo-hye-su (played by Kang Byul) and Park Jun-hyuk, who were trying to mediate between the families, "We are not dating." However, Gong Ju-a secretly took tips on complimenting Cha Se-ri's appearance. During a fitting session, she accidentally pricked Cha Se-ri's waist with a pin, creating an awkward yet humorous situation.

Family Conflict Escalates to Unprecedented Levels

Gong Jeong-han, receiving a golf lesson, was provoked by Yang Dong-ik's teasing. In a fit of anger, Gong Jeong-han swung too hard, sending the ball flying towards Cha Se-ri's face. Gong Ju-a managed to push Cha Se-ri aside and catch the ball, but the impact caused Cha Se-ri to tumble down a slope, further escalating the family conflict.

As Yang Hyun-bin comforted a distressed Gong Ju-a, she impulsively suggested, "Should we date for a year until you return to Argentina?" However, both realized they couldn't bear to part and decided not to speak of such things, deepening their bond.

So Yi-hyun's Tears: The Power of a Single Word

The Gong family's dynamics continued to evolve. Yang Eun-bin (played by Yoon Seo-ah) cooked porridge for the injured Cha Se-ri and expressed her sincerity by saying, "I'll call you mom instead of stepmom from now on," bringing Cha Se-ri to tears. Later, Yang Hyun-bin asked Cha Se-ri if she would accept whoever he liked, to which she replied, "Anyone but Gong Ju-a," leaving a bitter note.

Meanwhile, Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul) and Yang Dong-sook (played by Jo Mi-ryung) encountered Lee Hee-kyung (played by Kim Bo-jung) and Min Yong-gil (played by Kwon Hae-sung) at the courthouse. In response to their brazen attitude, Yang Dong-sook linked arms with Gong Dae-han, calling him "honey," while Min Yong-gil threatened with custody of Min Ji-hoo (played by Jo Yi-hyun). Gong Dae-han stood his ground, demanding the return of savings and deposits from Lee Hee-kyung. The two later enjoyed an arcade and meal, turning what was expected to be a sad day into a memorable one, with Yang Dong-sook expressing gratitude.

Towards the end of the episode, Yang Dong-ik learned that Hwang Ui-won wanted to appear on 'Human Theater,' while Gong Jeong-han continued to refuse joint appearances. Meanwhile, a video of Cha Se-ri's fall at the event went viral, leading the HR department to convene a disciplinary committee for Gong Ju-a. The unexpected turn of events left Gong Ju-a looking at Yang Hyun-bin in shock as the episode concluded.
