K-Pop Star Nana Opens Up About Living Alone and Her Close Bond with Her Mother

K-pop star Nana, who previously experienced a home invasion, revealed that she currently lives alone.

On the October 22nd episode of JTBC's variety show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', Super Junior's Kyuhyun and After School's Nana made guest appearances.

During the show, Nana was asked if she lives alone before revealing her refrigerator. She replied, "Yes, I live alone. I don't cook much at home and mostly rely on delivery food."

Why is the fridge full if you live alone?

However, Nana's refrigerator was packed. She explained, "It's my fridge, but my mom stocks it up a lot. She visits often, puts food in, and also eats from it. I mostly eat out, so the fridge is practically my mom's."

An Jung-hwan humorously commented, "It's technically your fridge, but it's like your mom is renting space," adding, "Does she come over when she has conflicts with your dad?"

Nana also candidly shared her eating habits, saying, "I try to minimize carbs and focus on protein. When I crave regular meals, I ask my mom to cook for me."

Mother-Daughter Duo: Clubbing Together?

Nana shared that she even goes clubbing with her mom to celebrate the New Year. "My mom is like the best friend in my life. She's open-minded, and we've celebrated New Year's at a club with friends," she revealed.

When asked about her mom's outfit, Nana said, "She wore jeans and dressed young." When questioned why her dad wasn't included, Nana humorously replied, "Sometimes, girls need their own time."

Meanwhile, Nana was a victim of a home invasion last November at her residence in Guri, Gyeonggi Province. A man in his 30s broke in with a weapon, threatening Nana and her mother while demanding valuables. The mother-daughter duo managed to subdue the intruder and reported him to the police.
