Comedian Hong Hyun-hee recently opened up about the challenges of planning for a second child, sharing a humorous anecdote that has caught the attention of many.

On the 22nd, the YouTube channel 'Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi' released a video titled 'Is it okay to air this? Spicy Talk with Moms Hong Hyun-hee & Couple Jang Eun-ji.' In the video, model and broadcaster Lee Hyun-yi invited Hong Hyun-hee and Jang Eun-ji from the YouTube channel 'Couple Jang' to discuss the struggles of working moms.

The trio shared their parenting challenges and discussed plans for more children. When Jang Eun-ji mentioned her plans for a third child, Hong Hyun-hee jokingly asked, "Why did you prepare eel today?" to which Lee Hyun-yi humorously replied, "For the third child." Hong Hyun-hee then asked Jang Eun-ji, "When do you find time for such things with a child?" Jang Eun-ji advised, "We started separate sleeping when the child was 4 months old."

Hong Hyun-hee particularly drew attention when she shared a friend's story, illustrating the difficulties of planning a second child while raising a young one.

She explained, "A family I know set up a tent in the living room for heating. Due to limited space, the child slept in the master bedroom, and the parents used the tent." She continued, "But the older child suddenly opened the tent door," adding, "The parents were caught off guard, slightly exposed, and quickly made up a story about a bear passing by to cover the situation." She added, "The child closed the door and left."

Hong Hyun-hee emphasized, "In such situations, parents' crisis management skills are crucial," noting, "It could potentially leave a trauma for the child." She also candidly shared, "Since I had Jun-beom later, those desires have diminished."

Meanwhile, Hong Hyun-hee married interior designer Jay Written (real name Yeon Je-seung) in 2018, and they have a son, Yeon Jun-beom.
