Kim Sung-soo and Park So-yoon's Romantic Getaway: A 100-Day Journey to Their First Hand-Holding

Kim Sung-soo (52) has successfully shared his first intimate moment with Park So-yoon, a show host 12 years his junior, after 100 days of dating.

On the October 19th episode of Channel A's variety show 'Groom Class 2', with new MCs Lee Seung-chul, Tak Jae-hoon, and Song Hae-na, Kim Sung-soo's overnight travel date with Park So-yoon, whom he met in Season 1, was revealed.

Kim Sung-soo and Park So-yoon's Romantic Trip to Yeongdeok

The episode showcased the 1-night, 2-day trip of Kim Sung-soo, dubbed '5th grade, 2nd class', and show host Park So-yoon to Yeongdeok, near Park's hometown of Ulsan. The couple reunited at the Yeongdeok beach, enjoyed a leisurely walk, and settled into their accommodation. As Kim Sung-soo tried to rest his head on Park So-yoon's lap, she playfully pushed him away, drawing laughter from the three MCs who joked, “She could be a volleyball player.”

During a meal at a famous crab restaurant, Kim Sung-soo humorously confessed, “Didn't I call you a few times when I was drunk? Even Lee Seung-chul, who was next to me, sang a song urging me to marry quickly.” Park So-yoon laughed, saying, “It means you still have feelings for me, which makes me happy.”

Success in Holding Hands After 100 Days

Amidst the romantic atmosphere, Kim Sung-soo expressed, “I seem to be conservative about dating,” and asked, “How far can you go with physical affection before officially dating?” Park So-yoon replied, “If someone holds my hand and I'm not sure about dating them, I'd pull away immediately.” Song Hae-na agreed, saying, “I also think 'some' is not a real relationship.” Kim Sung-soo joked, “Then I guess we're not officially dating, just 'some' dating.” He added, “I didn't expect holding hands to be this difficult after 100 days.”

After dinner, Kim Sung-soo attempted to hold Park So-yoon's hand during a walk on the sea deck but failed. Back at their accommodation, he gifted her 'couple pajamas', and they enjoyed black beer and strawberries. Park So-yoon revealed, “I had a curfew until I was 23.”

Kim Sung-soo, understanding her conservative background, shyly offered his hand, and after a moment of hesitation, Park So-yoon held it, bringing a sense of excitement.

New MCs Make a Splash

Meanwhile, the YouTube channel 'No Filter Tak Jae-hoon' featured Lee Seung-chul and Song Hae-na, drawing attention. Lee Seung-chul shared his upcoming grandfather status, and Song Hae-na candidly discussed her past relationship with a 'trash' ex-boyfriend.

Promoting 'Groom Class', Lee Seung-chul and Song Hae-na said, “We teach how to become a dating expert.” The new MCs expressed interest, saying, “It seems like a great school. I want to join too.” Tak Jae-hoon and Lee Seung-chul added, “We'd love to be students. The women on the show are so beautiful.”

'Groom Class 2' airs every Thursday at 10 PM.
