According to court registry documents, Changbin acquired the 198㎡ apartment in February last year without any mortgage, indicating a full cash transaction.
The Hyundai 1 and 2 complexes are part of the Apgujeong redevelopment zone, specifically the third zone, which is currently undergoing reconstruction. This ambitious project involves the redevelopment of 30 buildings, ranging from five underground floors to 65 above-ground floors, totaling 5,175 units. The construction cost is estimated at 11.2 million KRW per 3.3㎡, with a total project cost of 5.561 trillion KRW.
An industry insider commented, "It is believed that Changbin purchased a unit on a royal floor with a panoramic view of the Han River. Although current listings are priced significantly lower than peak prices, the value varies greatly depending on the floor. While the redevelopment process may take time, this appears to be a forward-looking investment."
