Comedians Kim Won-hoon and Um Ji-yoon, known for their portrayal of a long-term couple on the YouTube channel 'Short Box', are set to tie the knot in a unique, content-driven wedding ceremony.
On the 18th, Kim Won-hoon shared on social media, "Hello, this is Won-hoon and Ji-yoon. From lovers to spouses, we've cherished our love for 15 years and will embark on a new journey on April 1, 2026." The post was accompanied by a wedding photo of the couple.
He continued, "We wish to personally deliver invitations to our dear ones and share this joy, but we are cautiously sharing the news to avoid any discomfort from reaching out after a long time. We would be honored if you could bless our union with your presence and encouragement."
Kim also mentioned, "We've spent a lot on our honeymoon, so we could only guarantee meals for 150 guests. We apologize for not being able to invite more guests. Please check the pinned comment below for the guest application link."
In a humorous exchange, Um Ji-yoon commented on the post, "I'm not attending," to which Kim replied, "Me neither," eliciting laughter.
On the same day, the 'Short Box' YouTube channel posted, "The 15-year saga of our Long-Term Relationship series, which was the beginning and most beloved part of Short Box, is finally coming to fruition. We plan to bring this historic finale to life with a special offline event in the form of a real wedding ceremony."
