NouerA is making waves globally.
On the 9th, NouerA released their third mini-album 'POP IT LIKE'. Since then, they have appeared in various content and achieved significant milestones.
Following the release of 'POP IT LIKE', NouerA has been actively promoting. They showcased their wit and variety skills on web entertainment shows such as 'My Idol's Temperature Difference', 'Trap Dance', 'Tingle Sseollong', and 'Dolbakiil'.
Additionally, on MBC Radio's 'Idol Radio', they impressed with candid talks and unique chemistry among members. Their performance on 'Studio Choom' highlighted their artistry, with the video surpassing 1.28 million views.
Internationally, the response has been noteworthy. The title track 'POP IT LIKE' topped China's Douyin Challenge Chart, ranked second on the Entertainment Chart, and 26th on the Main Chart. NouerA also secured the top spot in Mnet's weekly vote 'M Countdown PICK', determined by global fans.
The 'POP IT LIKE' challenge is also gaining attention. NouerA, along with Zhang Hao, AlphaDriveOne's Arno and Anxin, DragonPony's An Taekyu and Pyeon Seonghyeon, Tunex, and Ascent members, showcased choreography to the upbeat hip-hop rhythm of 'POP IT LIKE'.
With their new release, NouerA achieved a 'career high' with 240,000 initial sales according to Hanteo Chart. The music video has gone viral, surpassing 10 million views, marking their first time reaching this milestone since debut.
'POP IT LIKE' is their first release in about nine months since their second mini-album 'n: number of Cases' in June last year. The album, expressing free energy and youthful vibes through music and performance, highlights NouerA's unique musical color, capturing fans' attention.
The album was executive produced by global artist and producer EXO's Lay. Lay was scheduled to appear at an EXO fan meeting last December but drew attention by canceling on the day. The choreography for the title track 'POP IT LIKE' was crafted by renowned dance crew We Dem Boyz, and the music video was produced by SL8, known for working with top K-pop artists.
