Actress Yoo Hye-jung Opens Up About Life as a Single Mom After 19 Years of Divorce

On the 17th, KBS variety show 'Living Together with Hwang Shin-hye' announced Yoo Hye-jung's appearance. On this episode, actresses Hwang Shin-hye, Jang Yoon-jung, and Jung Ga-eun visit Yoo's vintage boutique. Yoo, a 15-year veteran in the fashion business, showcases her expertise by providing personalized styling for each guest.
Yoo also opens up about the challenges she faced while running her clothing store. She recounts an incident where she was verbally attacked by a customer in front of her daughter, simply because she was a recognizable actress. This stress led to health issues, resulting in surgery.
A particularly poignant moment is when Yoo discusses the struggles of being a single mom. She recalls the painful moment when her young daughter learned about her divorce through a friend. This prompted Yoo to step away from the entertainment industry to focus on her daughter. Recently, her daughter encouraged her by saying, "Mom, you're the coolest when you're acting," inspiring Yoo to recommit to her acting career.
Yoo Hye-jung, a former Miss World University winner and Blue Dragon Film Award Best Actress recipient, married baseball player Seo Yong-bin in 1999 but divorced after eight years.
