Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa has shared news of an injury she sustained while traveling in Lombok, Indonesia.


On October 16, Uhm Jung-hwa posted a video on her YouTube channel 'Umazing Uhm Jung-hwa TV' documenting her surfing trip. In the video, she revealed that she was unable to continue her itinerary due to a toe injury sustained during the trip.

Instead of surfing, she spent time at the hotel pool, engaging in diving contests with her companions, swimming, and enjoying instant noodles. The video also showed Uhm Jung-hwa relaxing in the pool wearing a purple and green patterned swimsuit.


Before heading to Lombok, she expressed her excitement, saying, "I heard the small rural sea is even more beautiful than Bali." However, after completing her first day of surfing, she slipped on a wet path and hit her foot on the stairs at the accommodation.

Showing her bruised foot to the camera, Uhm Jung-hwa explained, "I'm really sorry, but I have to show you my foot. It's turning purple like this." She confessed, "I want to cry. In fact, I did cry," adding, "It hurt so much and I was so upset that I cried." She also mentioned, "Today is the first day, but there are seven more days of surfing left," and worried, "Today might be my last day surfing."

Uhm Jung-hwa hoped, "I wish this is just a bruise," praying for a quick recovery.
