On the 17th, TVING Original 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' released the 'Reindeer On-Off Teaser Video,' showcasing the cells of the 'unexpected homebody' Reindeer (played by Kim Jae-won) finding energy outside the house after meeting Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun).
Returning after three years, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' captures the cell-stimulating romance of Yumi, now a star writer, as she encounters an unexpected person who brings laughter, tears, and love into her previously uneventful life. With Kim Go-eun reprising her role as 'Yumi herself,' the addition of popular young actor Kim Jae-won, and the reunion of trusted director Lee Sang-yeob with writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, expectations are high.
Previously, the 'Yumi On-Off Teaser Video' hinted at a noona romance that reignites Yumi's heart with the appearance of Reindeer. The 'Reindeer On-Off Teaser Video' piques curiosity with the hidden twist behind Reindeer's usually calm and rational demeanor as Yumi's PD.
Reindeer, a PD at Julie Literature Department, is known for his sweet face but blunt honesty. Despite Yumi's description of him as having 'calmness written on his face,' he harbors a cute secret of being a 'homebody' who lives in low-power mode outside the house. He barely maintains a single bar of battery, ready to be drained at any moment.
Even when Yumi makes friendly 'small talk' about the nice weather, Reindeer responds with a simple 'Yes.' However, once home, he transforms completely. His cells come alive, lighting up the cell village as he joyfully eats dumplings alone, exclaiming 'Perfect,' and cheers while watching a baseball game, showcasing his adorable side.
Reindeer, who confidently calls himself a homebody, begins to change after meeting Yumi. His cells start moving even in low-power mode, and somehow, his battery remains 'fully charged' outside, filled with energy. He proactively offers, 'Feel free to contact me if it doesn't work out,' and when Yumi says, 'I'll try it alone. I won't bother you,' he responds, 'It's not a bother,' delivering a heart-fluttering moment and hinting at an unpredictable noona romance.
'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will premiere exclusively on TVING with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM starting April 13. It will also air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
