Choi Philip expresses pride in his children's growth.
On the 16th, Choi Philip shared a heartfelt message on his social media, starting with, "How have you been? It's been a while since I last greeted you."
Choi continued, "This spring, our family experienced a beautiful change. Our eldest graduated from kindergarten and is now an elementary school student, while Dowoon graduated from daycare and is now a kindergartener. Watching them run excitedly with backpacks almost as big as they are every morning warms my heart as a father. Accompanying them on their way to school each morning fills me with happiness." He added, "I imagine the day when they will spread their wings and embark on their own life journeys. To ensure I have no regrets, I strive to cherish these precious moments deeply." He concluded with, "May your days be filled with sparkling moments like the laughter of children."

Choi Philip married his partner, who is nine years younger, in 2017. They have a daughter born in 2019 and a son born in 2022. Choi revealed that his son, Dowoon, was diagnosed with stage 4 hepatoblastoma, a type of childhood cancer, at four months old and was declared cancer-free in December 2022. The Choi family also appeared on KBS's 'The Return of Superman' in August 2023.
