K-Pop Star Choi Soo-ho Promotes Hampyeong's Local Produce on KBS1's '6 O'Clock My Hometown'

K-Pop singer Choi Soo-ho has taken the lead in promoting Hampyeong's local agricultural products.

On October 16, Choi appeared on the KBS1 cultural program '6 O'Clock My Hometown' in the 'City Landing Direct Market' segment, showcasing his role as a promotional ambassador for Hampyeong's local specialties.

During the broadcast, Choi visited Gwangju to sell various agricultural products from Hampyeong, including wild chives, cherry tomatoes, glutinous rice, and rush pillows. As the first promotional ambassador for the direct market, Choi confidently declared, "Trust me."

Despite a slow start with no customers in sight, Choi took to the streets with a megaphone, actively engaging with citizens. He visited senior centers and senior dance classes to promote the market, even performing live upon request, charming citizens with his witty promotions.

Choi attracted customers with his bright energy and friendly charm, elevating the atmosphere and showcasing his presence as a 'trot sensation.' During the sales, he transformed into a one-day chef, making wild chive pancakes for customers. Despite it being his first attempt, he skillfully completed the dish, offering warmth and joy to the visiting citizens.

After successfully completing the direct market sales, Choi expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, "It's an honor to have achieved a sell-out. It was a truly rewarding experience to introduce the hard-earned agricultural products to many people."

Meanwhile, Choi released his second mini-album 'BIG IMPACT' in January, marking his energetic return to the music scene as a 'trot sensation.' Following the enthusiastic response, he released a remix version of the title track 'Big Thing Coming' on October 6, offering listeners a dynamic sound and a fresh appeal.
