Chef Park Eun-young Shares Behind-the-Scenes Stories and Her Rise to Fame
Chef Park Eun-young, known for her unique charm and character, recently opened up about her experiences on set and her honest feelings during her time in Hong Kong, showcasing her delightful storytelling skills.

On Big Bang's Daesung's YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung', a video titled 'When I Say It, It's Mssitagohre' was uploaded.

In the video, Chef Park Eun-young, who appeared as the 'Goddess of Chinese Cuisine' on 'Black and White Chef', shared anecdotes about her nickname 'Well-Off Eccentric' and her recent activities in entertainment with host Daesung.

Daesung mentioned Park Eun-young's memorable appearance on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', where she became a sensation not just for her cooking but also for her dancing and bold presence. Park Eun-young humorously revealed that although she was criticized for dancing instead of focusing on cooking, the flood of advertising offers after her dance performances led her to embrace dancing even more.

Park Eun-young also exposed the peculiar competitive spirit among chefs on set. She shared that she has a dance rivalry with Chef Jung Ho-young, and when they arrive at the set, they practice their choreography separately, maintaining a secretive competition. At Daesung's request, Park Eun-young demonstrated a key dance move from 'Eyelet', adding her signature unfocused gaze, proving her 'Clear-Eyed Maniac' persona. However, she humorously noted that when customers at her restaurant 'Nua' request her to dance, she politely declines to respect other diners' meals.

She continued to express her respect for her colleagues and reflected on memorable dishes. Park Eun-young named Chef Son Jong-won as the person she respects the most, admiring his thorough professionalism in preparing an extensive array of tools for any unexpected ingredients. She also mentioned writer Kim Poong's refrigerator and his 'Fried Melon', expressing awe at the unexpected combination and surprisingly excellent taste, though she humorously hesitated when asked if she would serve it at her restaurant.

Meanwhile, Park Eun-young candidly confessed the psychological struggles she faced while staying in Hong Kong during the airing of Netflix's 'Black and White Chef'. Although she anticipated the show's success, she didn't expect such an explosive response and felt anxious about not being able to participate in broadcasts due to being away from Korea. She also admitted to feeling envious of Chef Edward Lee, who, despite not having a restaurant in Korea, received global invitations, sharing her journey of perseverance to reach her current position.
