Set to premiere on April 13, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' has unveiled the 'Yumi On-Off Teaser,' showcasing the transformation in Yumi's (played by Kim Go-eun) peaceful life with the arrival of Sun-rok (played by Kim Jae-won).
Returning after three years, 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' captures the heartwarming and relatable romance of Yumi, now a star writer, as she encounters an unexpected person who brings laughter, tears, and love back into her life. The addition of rising star Kim Jae-won alongside Kim Go-eun, and the reunion of trusted director Lee Sang-yeob with writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, heightens anticipation.
The 'Yumi On-Off Teaser' hints at the return of excitement to Yumi's monotonous life. Yumi's cell village, once bustling with emotions, has calmed after her last relationship ended. Her words, "There's nothing that really hits me. The problem is that there are no problems," suggest her life has become too uneventful.
However, the arrival of Sun-rok, a PD at Julie Publishing, stirs up Yumi's cell village. With his sharp suit, intellectual glasses, and neatly styled hair, Sun-rok appears flawless. Yet, his unexpected charm when he removes his glasses and lets his hair down adds to the excitement.
Sun-rok's presence awakens Yumi's dormant love cells, causing her heart to race. As Yumi, who has achieved her dream of becoming a writer, ponders, "How do you start a relationship again?" her inner monologue, "It's been so long since I felt this way. My heart feels soft," heightens anticipation for the unpredictable romance between Yumi and Sun-rok.
'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will be exclusively pre-released on TVING every Monday at 6 PM with two episodes, starting April 13, and will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM with one episode.
