In this episode, Sun Woo-chan tells Song Ha-rin, "I don't think it's good for us to be this close," drawing a line. However, Song Ha-rin, pretending not to notice, shows him a photo on her phone and says, "These lines are traces of covering up scars."
As Sun Woo-chan tries to draw the line again, Song Ha-rin tells him that he is the one who covered her scars. She says, "I thought I couldn't escape the scars, but somehow, I found myself getting better." She then takes out a watch, saying, "I picked this up at the exhibition earlier. It seems like you used to wear it a lot. The style is the same as the painting I saw at your grandmother's house. Did you wear a broken watch from a long time ago?"
Sun Woo-chan recalls his father's memory and says, "I bought it from a stationery store when I was very young." Song Ha-rin suggests, "Maybe you wanted to piece it back together. Seeing you wear a stopped watch, it seems like that."
Song Ha-rin declares her intentions to move forward with Sun Woo-chan, saying, "I have to treat you well from now on." In response, Sun Woo-chan, with tears in his eyes, says, "Then I might end up liking you."
Song Ha-rin reassures him, "It's okay," and adds, "It's okay to like me even more." Sun Woo-chan warns, "If I like you more, I might become greedy." To this, Song Ha-rin nods and says, "It's okay to like me even more." Ultimately, Sun Woo-chan, with tears in his eyes, approaches Song Ha-rin, and the two share a passionate kiss, confirming their feelings for each other.
