On the recent episode of MBC's 'I Live Alone' aired on the 13th, panelists called out Kian84 for being 'rude' during his meeting with his idol, horror manga legend Junji Ito, in Japan.
Kian84, who has admired Junji Ito since childhood, couldn't hide his nervousness when meeting the iconic figure. He came prepared with a portrait he drew and a carefully packed lunch.
Dressed in a suit, Kian84 showed his respect by bowing 90 degrees and greeting Junji Ito in Japanese, saying, "It's an honor."
However, an unexpected moment unfolded when Gangnam offered a seat to Junji Ito, and Kian84, in his nervousness, sat down first. This prompted the studio panelists to question him, "Why did you sit down first?" and comment, "Rudeness never rests."
Caught off guard by the criticism, Kian84 explained, "I was too nervous. I wanted to be respectful because he's like a parent figure due to his age."
Despite the awkward moment, Kian84 continued to express his joy in Japanese, saying, "It's an honor to meet you like this," while bowing repeatedly.
Additionally, Kian84 revealed that he studied Japanese for three months to prepare for this meeting, dedicating himself as much as he does to running.
