Singer Ailee has opened up about her candid experiences during the IVF preparation process.
On the 13th, a short video titled "Morning Scene of Getting IVF Shots, It's Like a Horror Movie" was released on the YouTube channel 'Ailee & Choi Si-hoon's Marriage Diary.'
In the video, Ailee discusses the daily injections she receives as part of her IVF treatment preparation. She humorously describes waking up in the morning as akin to a horror movie, with her husband saying, "Let's get the shot, just a little prick."
The person administering the injections is her husband, Choi Si-hoon. He gently wakes Ailee, saying, "Honey, let's get the shot and go back to sleep," and proceeds to give her the injection, capturing viewers' attention.
The injection process is not easy. Ailee expresses her discomfort, saying, "It hurts so much," while Choi Si-hoon looks on with a concerned expression, checking on her condition.
Notably, the number of injection marks on Ailee's abdomen has increased, evoking sympathy. Choi Si-hoon comments, "It's the fifth day, so we're getting used to it, but she seems to be in more pain today, possibly due to the medication."
IVF, or in vitro fertilization, is a fertility treatment method that involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, requiring daily hormone injections at the same time each day.
Meanwhile, Ailee married Choi Si-hoon, a businessman and influencer three years her junior, last year. The couple is currently preparing for IVF and sharing their journey towards parenthood on their YouTube channel.
