From October 5th to 11th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which male singer would you like to use a hot pack with during a cold snap?' Juyeon from The Boyz emerged as the winner.
In a magazine interview conducted ahead of his birthday in January, Juyeon shared his thoughts on the new year. He expressed, "If I were to describe it in one sentence, I would say 'evenly ripened.' Until last year, I felt a bit young. Of course, I'm not completely past that now, but as I approach my 10th year since starting work, I feel like I'm maturing in various ways. I've gained a sense of ease in many aspects, such as taking care of those around me and looking after myself. I feel like this is the best time."
BTS's Jin secured the second spot. BTS has garnered attention worldwide by introducing the melody of 'Arirang' through their fifth studio album animation. On October 13th at 11 AM, BigHit Music, under HYBE Labels, released an animated video containing the message of their new album 'ARIRANG' on BTS's official SNS. The video begins with seven young men gathered in front of a phonograph in 1896. As the crank is turned, the melody of Korea's representative folk song 'Arirang' plays, drawing viewers in. The young men then embark on a journey across the Pacific Ocean on a large ship, arriving in a foreign land to record the song and share it with the locals.
