Mister Trot 4's Gil Ryeo-won Reflects on Her Journey with Tears
Gil Ryeo-won, who secured the 4th place in 'Mister Trot 4', shed tears as she recalled the Ace Round.

On the afternoon of the 13th, a press conference for the TOP5 of MBN's entertainment show 'Mister Trot 4' was held at TV Chosun's Gasan Studio in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by the top contestants: Lee So-na, Heo Chan-mi, Hong Sung-yoon, along with 4th place Gil Ryeo-won and 5th place Yoon Tae-hwa.

During the event, Gil Ryeo-won reflected on her performance in the Ace Round, mentioning that her vocal condition was not at its best. She shared, "I tried to recover by visiting the hospital, but my health didn't improve much," adding, "I felt a lot of pressure being among such talented seniors."

She continued, "I had mostly showcased traditional trot performances, but at that time, I wanted to show that I was working hard, so I challenged myself with a new song," she recalled, "It was more difficult than I expected."

As she continued her story, Gil Ryeo-won eventually broke into tears. She expressed, "Even now, thinking about it brings tears to my eyes," and conveyed her apologies to her teammates. She added, "Unlike the seniors, I didn't have much experience in managing my condition, but I learned a lot about health management from them during the competition."

She concluded, "I hadn't been taking care of myself much before, but this experience taught me a lot, and I'm now making an effort to manage my health diligently."

Meanwhile, the final episode of 'Mister Trot 4', which aired on the 5th, achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 18.1%, with a peak of 18.4%, setting a record as the number one show across all channels in its time slot for 12 consecutive weeks.
