Hong Jin-kyung, who recently divorced, declined Nam Chang-hee's request to give a speech at his wedding.
On the YouTube channel 'Gongbu Wang Jjin Genius Hong Jin-kyung,' a video titled 'Hong Jin-kyung's Brother Nam Chang-hee! Exclusive Look at the Star-Studded Wedding (Movie-like Wedding Story)' was released on the 12th.
The video showcased the wedding of Nam Chang-hee, which took place on February 22 at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Hong Jin-kyung remarked, "The wedding is being held at an expensive venue," as she entered the hotel.
At the wedding, Hong Jin-kyung greeted various guests, including Muzi, Gray, Jo Hye-ryun, and the agency's CEO. She reminisced about her own wedding, saying, "I had mine at Apgujeong," and added, "I spent a lot on flowers."
Hong Jin-kyung revealed that Nam Chang-hee originally asked her to give a speech. She responded, "Are you crazy? I'm a divorced person," and further explained, "I failed at marriage, so why would I give a speech at someone else's wedding?"
Nam Chang-hee married Yoon Young-kyung on February 22 at the Dynasty Hall of the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The couple tied the knot after four and a half years of dating. Nam Chang-hee's wife previously worked in the entertainment industry and made a surprise appearance on MBC's 'Infinite Challenge' in 2014 as the 'Han River IU.' She currently works as an officer in the public relations department of the Dongdaemun District Office and appears on the district's YouTube channel.
Born in 1977, Hong Jin-kyung debuted through the 2nd SBS Supermodel Contest in 1993. She divorced last August after 22 years of marriage. Regarding the reason for the divorce, Hong Jin-kyung stated, "It wasn't anyone's fault. We just decided to live differently."
