On Hyun-sook's YouTube channel 'Honey Day,' a video titled 'I Am Solo Young-sik Hyun-sook Wedding / Bride Fainted the Day Before / Groom's Caution / Producer Nam Gyu-hong's Speech / Singer Soyoumi's Song / 26th Season Young-chul as Host' was uploaded.
In the video, Hyun-sook and Young-sik, who got married last January, reflect on their wedding day.
The ceremony was hosted by fellow cast member Young-chul, whose sweet voice and witty hosting skills enhanced the atmosphere. Hyun-sook expressed her gratitude, saying, "I was worried Young-chul might play too many pranks, but he managed the event with great sense and moderation."
Notably, Nam Gyu-hong, the show's producer, delivered a speech that captivated the guests. Hyun-sook recalled asking him to give a speech, "He seemed very burdened by the request, and I repeatedly told him he didn't have to do it, but he made the difficult decision to go ahead."
Despite preparing for a possible cancellation, Nam Gyu-hong took the stage with the show's iconic megaphone, delivering his heartfelt message. Hyun-sook added, "He tried to appear calm, but his hands were shaking so much that it was even more touching."
In his speech, Nam Gyu-hong humorously admitted, "I invited Hyun-sook for her beautiful smile and kind heart, and Young-sik for being smart and a bit of an old soul, but I never expected them to end up together."
During the show, Hyun-sook never chose Young-sik, and Young-sik left without making a final choice. Nam Gyu-hong joked, "If I had known, I would have made at least a minimal choice on the spot."
He continued, "There will be ups and downs in married life, but loving more will solve everything. I hope you live happily, loving each other every day like doing homework."
Young-sik expressed his gratitude, saying Nam Gyu-hong's speech was a meaningful moment for them. Hyun-sook shared, "It was fascinating and fun to hear why the producer chose us as participants."
Initially paired with Kwang-soo on the show, Hyun-sook reconnected with Young-sik after filming, leading to their fateful reunion and eventual marriage.
