Meanwhile, the boy group Wanna One, formed during the 2017 season of 'Produce 101', announced their reunion through the Mnet reality show 'Wanna One Go' in April. This timing sets the stage for Wanna One in April and I.O.I in May.

I.O.I members Lim Na-young, Chungha, Kim Se-jeong, Jung Chae-yeon, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jung, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, and Jeon So-mi opened an official social media account under the ID 'ioi_10th' on platforms like X, Instagram, and TikTok on the 9th.

Through their official social media channels, I.O.I plans to gradually release various information related to their 10th-anniversary album, building anticipation until their comeback in May. They also announced a fandom name contest shortly after launching their SNS, aiming to engage fans in this meaningful 10th-anniversary project.
