On the first anniversary of the late singer Wheesung's passing, a touching 'Killing Voice' tribute video was released in his honor.
Dingo Music unveiled the Wheesung edition of 'Killing Voice' on their YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 10th. This video was crafted to reflect on the legacy left by the late artist in the Korean R&B music scene and to reinterpret his songs with fresh voices.
In line with the themes of 'remembrance' and 'continuation,' the video was produced with a simple and calm atmosphere. The songs were performed by singer Babylon, who was close to Wheesung during his lifetime, and Ain, an artist set to debut soon.
The duo filled the stage by weaving together several of Wheesung's renowned songs, conveying the message that his music will continue to live on. They performed well-known tracks such as 'Unspoken Story,' 'With Me,' 'The Day We Meet Again,' 'Walking in the Sky,' 'A Lifetime,' 'Love... That Bad Disease,' and 'Can't It Be?'.
Babylon showcased his R&B vocal prowess, paying respect to the late singer, while Ain's voice added a fresh interpretation to the classic songs.
After the final performance of 'Can't It Be?', the two artists stood in silence, gazing ahead in the dimmed light, taking a moment to honor Wheesung.
As they left the stage, Wheesung's heartfelt song 'My Person' played in the background, accompanied by clips of his past performances.
