On October 10, Park Mi-sun shared two photos on her Instagram, expressing her gratitude: "I used to think birthdays were just another day that comes every year. But after being ill, being able to blow out birthday candles again and receiving congratulations from those around me fills me with gratitude."
In the photos, Park Mi-sun is seen smiling in front of a pink cake. She shared her thoughts, saying, "I am thankful to spend my birthday in good health, believing that nothing in this world is taken for granted."
She added, "I don't know how many more cakes I'll be able to blow out, but I intend to live each day with gratitude for the time I have."
Park Mi-sun, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, appeared on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' last year, where she recounted her treatment journey: "I underwent 12 rounds of chemotherapy and 16 rounds of radiation therapy. My peripheral nerves were paralyzed, leaving me without sensation, and I lost my voice."
It is reported that she is now in remission, focusing on maintaining her health and taking medication to prevent recurrence.
