Korean rapper Swings has addressed the rumors surrounding his fertility.
On the October 9th episode of the SBS variety show 'But Seriously!', Swings appeared as a guest and clarified the speculation about his fertility. He revealed, "About eight years ago, I made a significant decision. I decided I would never have children, so I went to the hospital and had a vasectomy." This period coincides with his public relationship with actress Lim Bora, which began in 2017 and ended in 2020.
However, Swings shared that his perspective changed two years ago. "Suddenly, I felt the desire to have children. It doesn't mean I'm planning to start a family immediately. Maybe it's a hormonal change, but kids started to look adorable to me," he explained.
Following this change of heart, Swings underwent a vasectomy reversal. He recounted, "I had to be in an embarrassing position during the surgery. I hoped the nurses would be male, but they were all female. Just before the surgery, one of them said she was a fan, which made it even more awkward. After the surgery, despite being in pain, I signed an autograph."
Swings also shared his experience of visiting another clinic to confirm the success of the reversal. "The restroom was shared with other offices, so I hid my face, worried someone might recognize me," he admitted.
Addressing the rumors of infertility, Swings said, "I briefly mentioned this on YouTube, and people started teasing me, calling me a 'seedless watermelon.' Initially, only about eight sperm were visible in the test, and the doctor said it would be difficult to have children. However, when I returned six months later, the test showed a significant increase in sperm count."
