The first anniversary of singer Wheesung's passing is being observed.
March 10 marks one year since the late Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Despite emergency measures, he was pronounced dead at the age of 43.
At the time of the incident, local police found no signs of forced entry or foul play and requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service. An initial verbal opinion of 'unknown cause of death' was given, but the detailed results were not disclosed to the public to protect the dignity of the deceased and prevent further distress to the family.
Wheesung debuted in the music industry in 2002 with his first studio album 'Like A Movie.' He had been active in dance teams and music groups during high school before launching his solo career. He gained recognition with his debut track 'Can't We' and released numerous R&B tracks, contributing significantly to the popular music scene.
