On October 10, Kim Jin-ho shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, stating, "Knowing you was one of the greatest fortunes of my life. Just the fact that I knew you brought me immense happiness."
He continued, "Thanks to you, I appeared on broadcasts that I never imagined, and met famous celebrities I only saw on the news. I gained wonderful connections with the Whee Team and chorus friends, and most importantly, I was able to create the happiest memories of my 20s."
Kim Jin-ho reminisced with a touch of humor, "There are more photos of us together than I thought. I didn't post the ones where I looked too ugly."
He added, "The salmon restaurant we ate at, the cold noodles, the convenience store at Seonjeongneung Station we visited, the aroma I first smelled in your car, and the three-hour phone call we had on a whim—all these are precious memories to me."
Kim Jin-ho shared a photo of Wheesung's grave, saying, "I will remember everything. So, let go of everything and be reborn to live happily."
Kim Jin-ho gained recognition after winning the Wheesung episode of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 2'. He continued to maintain a close relationship with Wheesung, even appearing as a guest at his concerts.
Meanwhile, Wheesung was found deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on March 10 last year. He was 43 years old.
