Tension Peaks as 'Honor: Her Court' Reaches Its Finale with Record Ratings
Yeon Woo-jin spirals out of control, threatening Jung Eun-chae's life in his twisted quest for justice. As Lee Na-young races to save Jung Eun-chae and uncover the true villain behind the chaos, anticipation for the finale of 'Honor: Her Court' reaches a fever pitch, driving ratings to new heights. The penultimate episode, aired on November 9, achieved a nationwide rating of 4.4% and a metropolitan rating of 4.1%, setting a new record for the series, according to Nielsen Korea (based on paid households).

In the 11th episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Her Court' (hereafter 'Honor'), the reason behind Baek Tae-joo's (Yeon Woo-jin) deliberate approach to Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-chae) is revealed. Twenty years ago, his sister, rookie actress Seo Ji-yoon, took her own life after being coerced into sexual favors. Adopted to the U.S. as a child, Baek Tae-joo returned as an adult only to find he was too late. His attempt to expose the sex bribery list through hacking was in vain, as all involved were acquitted due to insufficient evidence. The root of this cartel was Seong Tae-im (Kim Mi-sook), who manipulated the legal system to her advantage. To Baek Tae-joo, Seong Tae-im was a legacy code that needed to be erased, and the impact would be greater if her daughter, Kang Shin-jae, was the one to bring her down.

Kang Shin-jae also joined Baek Tae-joo's 20-year revenge project. She realized that her mother's prestigious lawyer badge was merely a tool to protect the powerful, and that if she didn't act, the cycle would never end. Her hope to plant flowers in a minefield of injustice was self-deception, and she concluded that diving into the flames was the only option. She reported all the evidence Baek Tae-joo had gathered, including Seong Tae-im's power dealings and the corruption of 'ConnectIn' users, to the Public Prosecution Office.

Yoon Ra-young (Lee Na-young), who was released after proving self-defense with a video submitted by Kang Shin-jae, couldn't comprehend the situation. The video was clearly filmed by her daughter, Han Min-seo (Jeon So-young), but how Kang Shin-jae obtained it was unclear. Furthermore, Kang Shin-jae's unexpected actions, such as dissolving the L&J (Listen & Join) law firm and becoming an internal whistleblower against Seong Tae-im, were baffling. At that moment, Hong Yeon-hee (Baek Eun-hye) brought a USB she found in her husband Park Jae-yeol's (Seo Hyun-woo) car. It contained a recorded conversation revealing that the developer of 'ConnectIn' had intentionally approached him to induce crime. Realizing that the same person orchestrated Han Min-seo's exposure of sexual exploitation videos and appointed Park Jae-yeol as an administrator, Yoon Ra-young was shocked to confirm that Baek Tae-joo was the one who pushed her daughter into the fire.

Yoon Ra-young's suspicion that Baek Tae-joo was holding Han Min-seo hostage to prevent exposure proved true. Baek Tae-joo's chilling cruelty was further revealed when he prepared a forged death certificate for Han Min-seo, who was confined in a psychiatric hospital. Tracking a call from Han Min-seo during her escape attempt, Yoon Ra-young found her chart at the hospital but couldn't locate her daughter. Even after urgently informing Kang Shin-jae, she was met with cold betrayal. Kang Shin-jae insisted that staying there might be safer and that there was no evidence linking Baek Tae-joo, leaving Yoon Ra-young paralyzed with disbelief.

In reality, Kang Shin-jae was secretly rescuing Han Min-seo and hiding her in a safe place while pretending to assist Baek Tae-joo. To prevent Baek Tae-joo from catching on, she kept this from Yoon Ra-young. Simultaneously, she was planning to expose Baek Tae-joo's true nature during a demonstration of 'The Prime's' smart city technology. On the day of the demonstration, Kang Shin-jae, in collaboration with hacker Ahn Dong-je (Kim Moon-ki), successfully cloned Baek Tae-joo's fingerprint and embedded a code to expose his crimes on the main server.

Meanwhile, Baek Tae-joo, having identified Kang Shin-jae's true intentions through CCTV footage near the psychiatric hospital, acted first. He confronted Yoon Ra-young at the demonstration, showing her a screen of an unconscious Kang Shin-jae and threatening that if the clean fire suppression gas in the server room was released, oxygen would deplete to 0% in three minutes. He left her with a chilling warning, "How long can Shin-jae last without oxygen? If you don't want to find out, keep quiet," before calmly taking the stage, leaving Yoon Ra-young in shock and confusion over how to save Kang Shin-jae.
