Actor Yoo Yeon-seok recently shared that he had prepared for part-time jobs during his acting career.
On the October 8th episode of the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (also known as 'Miwoosae'), Yoo Yeon-seok appeared as a special MC.
Seo Jang-hoon explained Yoo Yeon-seok's appearance, stating, "He promised to appear on 'Miwoosae' if the show 'Just in Time' reached a 5% viewership rating as part of his pledge for the 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards."
Yoo Yeon-seok had previously promised to appear on a 'highest viewership' program. He confessed, "I couldn't not appear after making such a promise."
With his new drama 'God and Law Office' set to premiere, Shin Dong-yup commented, "It's not easy for a variety show to surpass 5% or a drama to surpass 10% in ratings. If your drama exceeds 10%, please appear again." Seo Jang-hoon humorously added, "Appear in a VCR instead of the studio."
Yoo Yeon-seok discussed the differences between national MCs Yoo Jae-suk and Shin Dong-yup. He said, "I meet Jae-suk outdoors, but I've never seen Dong-yup standing up. When we did variety shows like 'Life Bar' and 'Hwashin,' he was always sitting." Shin Dong-yup jokingly replied, "I like sitting."
When Seo Jang-hoon asked, "If you were to start a new variety show, who would you choose between Yoo Jae-suk and Shin Dong-yup?" Yoo Yeon-seok dodged the question, saying, "Can't we have both if the budget allows?" Seo Jang-hoon pressed, "It's too expensive."
Ultimately, Yoo Yeon-seok chose Shin Dong-yup, expressing, "I'd like to invite Dong-yup to an outdoor travel variety show." Shin Dong-yup humorously added, "If I do a show with Yeon-seok, I'd want it to be mischievous and a bit risqué."
Yoo Yeon-seok's cheesy lines from 'The Call You Made' were revealed, earning him the nickname 'Sexy Forehead.'
Lines like 'Tell me how not to love you' and 'Do you want to undress, or should I?' were shown in a VCR, to which Yoo Yeon-seok commented, "Seeing those lines out of context makes them very intense," with an embarrassed expression. Shin Dong-yup remarked, "It would make for a fun parody skit."
Regarding the cheesy lines, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "When I received the script, I wondered how I could deliver them. It was awkward because they're not phrases used in everyday life," adding, "I've never used them outside of a drama."
Yoo Yeon-seok, who holds forklift and trailer licenses, confessed, "I was a driver in the military, and I felt anxious about what I would do if there were no acting projects after my discharge. So, I decided to obtain qualifications for part-time jobs while in the military."
