Actress Pyo Ye-jin Shares Her Journey from Flight Attendant to Actress on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3'


In a candid conversation with broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo (48), actress Pyo Ye-jin (34) opened up about her transition from being a flight attendant to pursuing a career in acting.

The 21st episode of 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3' (a joint production by MBN, Channel S, and SK Broadband) features Jeon Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin), and their 'food friend' Pyo Ye-jin enjoying fresh seafood in Jeju while sharing heartfelt stories.

The trio heads to the Daejeong Oil Market located at Moseulpo Port in Jeju. They visit a renowned restaurant that switched its menu from grilled tilefish to 'Bommal Kalguksu' (sea snail noodle soup), gaining popularity. At the restaurant, they order 'Bommal Kalguksu,' and after tasting it, Kwak Tube praises it, saying, "It tastes like a luxurious and rich seaweed soup," giving it a thumbs up. Pyo Ye-jin also expresses her satisfaction, saying, "Both of our birthdays were recent, and this feels like a perfect birthday meal." When the topic of birthdays comes up, Kwak Tube shares a heartwarming story about Jeon Hyun-moo, saying, "On my recent birthday, Hyun-moo hyung bought the exact gift my wife wanted, which was amazing."

In the warm atmosphere, Jeon Hyun-moo admits, "I didn't know Ye-jin was a former flight attendant, and the youngest one at that?" Pyo Ye-jin shares, "I started as a flight attendant at 19 and worked for about a year and a half." She candidly reveals her reason for switching to acting, saying, "When I thought about my future 10 years down the line, I wanted to try something challenging." She also surprises Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube by mentioning her early days in the industry, "During my debut, I personally delivered my profile to ten places a day."

After sharing their stories and growing closer, the three move on to their next destination. They visit a renowned restaurant known for holding the world's first patent for 'Daggumbari Hoechigi' (a type of fish sashimi). Here, they encounter the Daggumbari sashimi, which costs around 2.4 million won per fish. The anticipation builds as they wonder how the sashimi, crafted by a master chef, will taste.
