On October 5th, the YouTube channel 'Oh Eun-young's Bucket List' released a video titled 'Finally Met. The Reason Kim Joo-ha is Grateful to Oh Eun-young (First Confession, Children's Update)'.

In the video, Kim Joo-ha shared an update on her son after her divorce, saying, "He's much better than before. Even though it's over between us, he's still their father, so I don't think it's over between him and the kids. But my son remembers what he went through."

Kim Joo-ha's son, who is now 193cm tall, has entered university this year. She noted, "After my son grew taller than him, he gained confidence. Before that, he was afraid he would keep getting hit. He used to hide in the closet for an hour at a time."

Kim Joo-ha revealed that her son had saved his father's contact as 'Fist Traitor' on his phone, saying, "It must have been a symbolic term for his father." She added, "He never calls him dad, only refers to him by his name."

Kim Joo-ha married in October 2004 and had two children, but due to her ex-husband's infidelity and violence, she filed for divorce in 2013 after nine years of marriage. Her ex-husband was sentenced to eight months in prison with a two-year probation in 2014, and Kim Joo-ha received a final divorce ruling in 2016. She was granted custody and alimony of 50 million won, while her ex-husband was ordered to divide assets worth 1.02 billion won.

Recently, through 'Day and Night', Kim Joo-ha disclosed that her husband had an affair with a woman living in the building right in front of their apartment. She said, "When I presented evidence of the affair, he would resort to violence when he had nothing to say. My eardrum is ruptured, and I can't hear well in one ear. I was hit twice. Once, I fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury. An hour before the news, I collapsed and went to the hospital, where the doctor asked if I wanted to report it. I said I was okay."
