Im Woo-il, who has been training in freediving for three months, wishes to join the lobster team. However, Edward Lee recalls Im Woo-il's past success in catching numerous squid in Indonesia, earning him the nickname 'Squid Uncle,' and suggests he join the squid team instead. Displeased, Im Woo-il proposes a vote to decide his team, resulting in his assignment to the squid team. Observing this, Pani Bottle comments on the 'three months lost,' adding to the sense of disappointment.

The teams split up to pursue their respective targets. The lobster team heads to the depths, employing freediving techniques to locate their prey hidden among the rocks. Pani Bottle, eager for success, brings out personal gear, while Kim Dae-ho leads the charge. Edward Lee adds a touch of excitement with a backflip dive into the sea, boosting team morale.

Meanwhile, the squid team focuses on their target from the boat. Team leader Choo Sung-hoon enhances his concentration by cutting his gloves to better feel the subtle vibrations of the fishing line. With communication challenges, both teams rely heavily on teamwork to achieve their hunting goals.

'Chef and Hunter' airs every Thursday at 10 PM.
