The truth behind a murder at a closed-down motel is being pursued.
On the upcoming episode of T-Cast E Channel's 'Brave Detectives 4', airing on the 6th, Detective Lee Seung-nam will reveal his investigation diary. Joining him once again as a guest is entertainer Um Ji-yoon.
The episode begins with a 911 call reporting that an uncle, who lived alone, had not been in contact for over two weeks. It was confirmed that the uncle had been staying at an abandoned motel in the area. Upon forcibly opening the tightly shut motel door, a severely decomposed body was discovered right in front of the main entrance. The body showed signs of blunt force trauma, with a fractured cheekbone and severe facial injuries.
The investigation team immediately began tracking the perpetrator, but the case was not easily solved. The victim had no known enemies, and there were no signs of a robbery, as the interior of the building was undisturbed. Furthermore, the motel had been closed for a long time, and all CCTV cameras were turned off. Who could have broken into the closed motel to commit murder?
The investigation team used nearby CCTV footage that captured the motel's entrance to trace the victim's last movements. The victim entered the motel three weeks before the body was discovered. On the same day, another man, not the victim, was seen leaving the motel. The detective immediately recognized the man, who was covering himself with an umbrella and wearing a hat. Um Ji-yoon expressed her shock, saying, "It's so bizarre," as the truth of the case unfolded.
