Yoon Jong-shin Reflects on Living with Director Jang Hang-jun Before His Success

Singer Yoon Jong-shin reminisced about his two-year cohabitation with his close friend, director Jang Hang-jun, who is on the verge of reaching 10 million viewers with his film.

On the October 4th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Yoon Jong-shin appeared as a guest.

During the show, Yoon Jong-shin humorously revealed the struggles of director Jang Hang-jun during his unknown days, as Jang's recent film 'The Man Living with the King' has accumulated 9.4 million viewers.

Yoo Jae-suk asked, "With director Jang Hang-jun doing so well, do you have mixed feelings?" Yoon Jong-shin replied, "There are two lessons to be learned. One is that if you persist, opportunities will come. But if luck beyond your means arrives, you'll eventually fail within 10 years." He added, "What Jang Hang-jun has achieved is beyond his capabilities. This level of success is excessive," bringing laughter to the set.

Yoo Jae-suk inquired, "Didn't you live with director Jang Hang-jun?" Yoon Jong-shin responded, "You know those uncles who just hang around at home? I watched that kind of life for two years. There were piles of jjambbong bowls," causing laughter.

Yoon Jong-shin particularly emphasized Jang Hang-jun's unique confidence even while living a 'jobless life.' He said, "It was clearly my house, but he never cared about my opinion. Sometimes, he even rearranged the furniture as he pleased. He lived without any worries." Yoo Jae-suk agreed, "He's confident wherever he goes. It's impressive. I'm envious."

Yoon Jong-shin praised Jang Hang-jun's life journey, saying, "He solved his welfare issues when he met me in his 20s, and everything else was resolved after meeting writer Kim Eun-hee. He's the best I've seen in life."
