JTBC's 'Hanmuncheol's Black Box Review' (referred to as 'Hanbli') highlights a shocking incident involving a drunken passenger's lewd behavior inside a taxi late at night.
The released footage from the taxi's internal black box reveals a disturbing scene where a male passenger in his 30s is caught engaging in obscene acts while undressed in the backseat of a taxi driven by a female driver. Witnessing this, Jung Hye-sung expressed her horror, saying, "This is so creepy," while Han Bo-reum showed intense anger, stating, "This is truly the worst."
The production team interviews the victimized taxi driver to hear about the horrific situation firsthand. She recounts, "I sensed something was off from the moment the passenger boarded," and "He kept making sexual remarks." Despite her demands for him to exit the vehicle, the passenger insisted on continuing the ride, and when she turned around, she was shocked to find him naked.
The taxi driver immediately reported the incident to the police, leading to the passenger's arrest as a flagrant offender. It was later revealed that despite having a prior record of similar offenses, charges of sexual harassment were dismissed, causing a stir in the studio. The victimized driver expressed severe trauma, stating, "It's hard to even hold the steering wheel after the incident." Attorney Hanmuncheol pointed out the limitations of current penalties, noting, "The maximum sentence for public indecency is one year in prison," and emphasized the need for stricter punishment, considering the offender's history and circumstances.
'Hanbli' also features a terrifying accident caused by careless parking on a slope. The footage shows a 5-ton grapple truck rolling down a slope, crashing through a median barrier, and colliding with a black box-equipped vehicle. The truck only stopped after hitting a large pine tree. The panelists remarked, "The pine tree prevented a major accident," and "It could have been a disaster." Joo Yeon-woo emphasized the importance of proper parking habits, saying, "I'll make sure to use wheel chocks from now on."
Meanwhile, the episode features Jung Hye-sung and Joo Yeon-woo from JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles,' bringing energy to the studio. The duo, known for their on-screen chemistry, will momentarily be left speechless by the unprecedented black box footage, resonating with viewers.
