On October 2nd, Lee Young-eun posted on her Instagram, "Before the movie starts. Little did I know I would be in tears 🥹 Currently obsessed with 'The King and the Clown' 🎬🍿🎞️," along with several photos.
The photos show Lee Young-eun visiting a theater with a friend to watch the film 'The King and the Clown,' which is nearing 10 million viewers. She chose a theater with sofa seating and prepared with popcorn. However, while other patrons had their feet on the sofa with socks on, Lee Young-eun posed with her shoes on the edge of the sofa, leading to public decorum criticism.
Public decorum controversies involving celebrities are not new. Last year, actress Min Do-hee faced backlash for posting a photo with her shoes on an airport chair, with comments like "Basic manners should be observed" and "Why put shoes on the chair?" Singer Muzi also faced criticism in January for putting his shoe-clad feet on a karaoke sofa.
Meanwhile, Lee Young-eun, born in 1982, is 43 years old. She debuted in the entertainment industry as a model in 1998, married a non-celebrity in 2014, and has a daughter born in 2015.
