Jun-beom made his first appearance at the Royal Auction, casting a meaningful gaze at chief auctioneer Han Seol-ah (played by Park Min-young), creating unexplained tension between them and piquing viewers' curiosity. As the auction commenced, Jun-beom maintained a steady demeanor and composure amidst the fierce bidding, never taking his eyes off Seol-ah, adding a mysterious vibe.

Approaching a relaxed Seol-ah, Jun-beom naturally closed the distance, intriguingly asking, "Do you remember me? We've never met," when Seol-ah recognized him. His enigmatic response to Seol-ah's claim of never forgetting a face, "Never forget... really?" followed by introducing himself as "Baek Jun-beom," heightened expectations for their future relationship.

When deputy auctioneer Kim Yoon-ji (played by Lee El-ya) interrupted their conversation, Jun-beom's demeanor turned icy as he crumpled Yoon-ji's business card, remarking, "You don't know when to step in or out," surprising onlookers.
