Woody Tops February's Tenasia Artist Top Ten in K-Pop Genre

Woody, Hanloro, Kim Yong-bin, Hwasa, Son Bin-ah, All Day Project, Park Seo-jin, WOODZ, Hong Ja, and Chu Hyuk-jin have been named the winners of the February Tenasia Artist Top Ten in the 'K-Pop Genre Brand' category.

The global voting for the Tenasia Artist Top Ten was conducted in February through Tenasia's voting service, divided into K-Pop Boy Brand, K-Pop Girl Brand, and Hot Genre Brand categories. The voting took place from February 9 to February 22.

Organized by Tenasia, the 'Artist Top Ten' is a monthly competition that selects the most buzzworthy domestic artists. Male and female K-Pop idols, as well as genre artists (indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.), compete for the top spot in their respective categories.

In the voting results, singer Woody claimed the top spot in the K-Pop Genre Brand category. On February 12, he released his new mini-album 'Woody.zip' on various online music platforms. This new release comes approximately five months after his previous album 'IN ME,' released in September last year. Woody participated in writing and composing all the tracks, showcasing his deepened musical maturity as an artist.

Singer Hanloro secured the second position. Hanloro recently won 'Musician of the Year' at the 23rd Korean Music Awards held at Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul, with his EP 'Grapefruit Apricot Club.' After receiving the award, Hanloro expressed, "Music started with love, but it was never easy," and thanked his family, friends, agency, and fans.

Kim Yong-bin took third place. He appeared on the 10th episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Golden Friday' on February 27. During the show, he competed against Son Bin-ah, performing Hyunmi's 'Longing Face,' a song cherished by his grandmother, and scored a perfect 100 points. Son Bin-ah chose Song Gol-mae's 'First Moment' and scored 99 points, resulting in Kim Yong-bin's victory.

Following them were Hwasa, Son Bin-ah, All Day Project, Park Seo-jin, WOODZ, Hong Ja, and Chu Hyuk-jin.

The rankings of Woody, Hanloro, Kim Yong-bin, Hwasa, Son Bin-ah, All Day Project, Park Seo-jin, WOODZ, Hong Ja, and Chu Hyuk-jin are determined 100% by the voting scores on the Tenasia application. After the monthly voting concludes, the artists with the highest combined scores from fans' votes are selected as the Artist Top 10. An event is also held on the voting page, where participants receive one heart daily for checking in.

Candidates for the K-Pop Boy Brand and K-Pop Girl Brand categories are selected from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Idol Champ Chart. Candidates for the Hot Genre Brand category are chosen from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Celeb Champ Chart.

Artists who make it to the 'Artist Top Ten' receive benefits such as special articles linked to their final ranking, promotion on the Tenasia website, and inclusion in the next month's Artist Top Ten candidates (limited to the first-place artist).
