On the latest episode of tvN's 'After School Teacher,' aired on the 1st, main teacher Kim Tae-ri and assistant teacher Choi Hyun-wook clashed over their differing educational philosophies while working with the after-school drama club students.
Kim Tae-ri was left frustrated as she prepared for the 'after-school class' alone, while Choi Hyun-wook was absent, having gone outside to play soccer with the students. She expressed her annoyance, saying, "This is ridiculous. I'm doing this all by myself."
After overcoming some challenges, the two teachers completed the class and decided to go out for a meal, saying, "Let's eat out."
Choi Hyun-wook expressed his hunger, saying he wanted spicy pork belly, but even at the restaurant, he was focused on choosing the right menu for the students.
The two had differing opinions on the menu. Choi suggested, "We should have kimbap, kimchi fried rice, and rice balls," and continued to add, "Musubi, rolled omelet, and sweet and sour chicken would be great too."
Kim Tae-ri attempted to have a serious conversation about feedback from their first class and plans for future vocal exercises, but Choi was solely focused on the food, saying, "The pork belly looks delicious. Meat comes first." This prompted Kim to express her pent-up frustration, asking, "What were you thinking when I was talking just now?" She also criticized Choi's lack of dedication during drama class, saying, "I wish you would put the same passion into drama class as you do into the lunchbox."
Choi retorted, "I think lunch is important too. Am I being scolded right now? Why are we talking about this during a meal? I just want to eat in peace. This is stressful."
Choi also shared his thoughts, saying, "We really are different. I'm genuinely surprised. It's fascinating how different we are."
