Moon Sang-min Praises Go Ah-sung's Supportive Role in Netflix Film 'Pavane'

Actor Moon Sang-min (25) shared his experience working with Go Ah-sung (33) in the Netflix film 'Pavane'.

In a recent interview at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, Moon discussed his role in the film directed by Lee Jong-pil.

'Pavane' is a story about three individuals who, while living with closed hearts, become lights for each other, confronting life and love. Moon plays the role of Kyung-rok, a young man who has given up his dream of becoming a dancer and is facing reality.

Moon spoke about his on-screen relationship with Go Ah-sung, stating, "Isn't Ah-sung a representative actress of South Korea?" He continued, "What I was really grateful for was that her experience and career were not felt on set at all."

He added, "She never made me feel the gap between us. Meeting as Kyung-rok and Mi-jung, I didn't think of her as 'Ah-sung nuna' or 'senior'. She helped me exist as Kyung-rok and naturally created an environment where I could focus on Mi-jung. Thanks to her, I was able to concentrate really well."

Moon highlighted her consideration on set as a memorable moment. "Even in scenes where she wasn't present, like the confession scene, she stayed on set to watch," he said. "I think that kind of consideration is reflected in the film."

He continued, "The emotions of Mi-jung loving and cherishing Kyung-rok were naturally expressed thanks to Ah-sung nuna. I wonder if I could have done well without her," he candidly shared.
